I'm Standing!!

I've been practicing standing this week. I can do it all by myself (with something to hold on to of course). Because I have this new skill, Daddy had to lower my crib. Something about not wanting me to leap out. Soon I'll be practicing my place kicking skills so I can play for the Trojans.

Current Events

I think that it's important to keep up with what's happening in the world. Sunday my daddy and I read the paper together. There are lots of ads to look at too. I really like playing, I mean reading, the paper.

Cool!

We got our new fridge delivered today. It's bigger than the old one so it holds more of my food. It also has a water and ice dispenser. Mommy and Daddy got the "clean steel" finish which doesn't show fingerprints. That's no fun!

Sharing

Now that I can move around more, I am finding more things to play with. On this particular day, I found Satchel's bear that he got when he was a puppy. Since he sometimes plays with my toys, I figured it was only fair I get to play with his. He was napping at the time and didn't mind.

No More Bumbo

If you all will notice, I can now sit up all by myself. I don't need the Bumbo for help anymore. I'm getting to be a big boy. Here I am working in my satellite office. Here I listen to music from around the world and learn to say hello and count in different languages. I can also make the globe spin around really fast.

Play Ball?

After I tried my puffs, Satchel thought it was time to play ball. He brings it to me often and I can now pick it up. I think that Satchel thinks that I should be able to throw by now. I'm working on it but still need some practice. I see Satchel chew on it so it seems like a good thing to do. Mommy and Daddy don't think so though and take it away. Satchel just brings it right back :)

Puffs!

Yesterday Mommy bought me some veggie puffs so I could start learning how to feed myself. They are the corn flavor, which is a new taste for me. Mommy says they taste sort of like sugar corn pops and Daddy says they are more like air. Anyway, I tried one and I'm not sure yet if I like them. They sort of dissolve so not a lot of chewing is needed. Satchel got one and he liked it, so they must taste good. Maybe if I try more, I will like them.
